Extensive Experience

Before founding Simplif-AI Accounting, we gained experience in key positions within both international and domestic companies, across industries such as real estate, investment funds, energy sector, renewable energy, logistics, retail, consulting, and IT. Our managerial work within finance departments allowed us to develop a unique approach that combines accounting expertise with advanced data analysis and financial advisory, strengthened by exceptional communication skills.

Our many years of experience managing business processes and finance & accounting teams — both as B2B clients of accounting firms and as service providers — led us to develop a unique, out-of-the-box approach. As a result, we are able to offer a wide range of solutions to support businesses in optimizing decision-making, guiding leaders and organizations through change and growth, and increasing operational efficiency. Having worked in managerial positions across multiple industries, we know the challenges that business owners and executives face when making decisions based on poorly matched financial data — and we have seen firsthand the possible outcomes. Our Founders

Joanna Tlak

Joanna holds an FCCA certification and has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting management within international companies. As a Finance Director, she was responsible for managing finance departments, reporting, and regulatory compliance. In addition, she has extensive experience in overseeing portfolios of companies in real estate, IT, and renewable energy, as well as leading projects focused on financial process automation.

Monika Starecka

Monika is a certified statutory auditor with over 25 years of experience in financial management. She has held senior management positions at companies such as PKP, EY Poland, and the SMYK Group. Her expertise lies in optimizing financial processes and implementing IT systems that support financial management. Her background also includes conducting financial audits in international companies and improving financial reporting processes.

Jolanta Kołodziej

Jolanta is a Chief Accountant with over 20 years of experience in managing finance and accounting departments, as well as HR and payroll functions. She specializes in comprehensive bookkeeping for commercial law companies, preparing both standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Her expertise also includes working with statutory auditors and handling CIT, PIT, and VAT settlements.

Magdalena Piegat

Magdalena brings unique experience at the intersection of management, business and financial processes, and operational activities, gained in both the private sector and NGOs operating in children’s health and disease prevention. Her work is rooted in the lean approach and best practices in change management, which are invaluable in projects aimed at improving financial processes.
